We are an International Church in beautiful Yang-Ming Shan 陽明山Taipei. We teach the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter from Genesis to Revelation, learning about Jesus through His Word and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Our History 教會沿革Calvary International Baptist Church (CIBC) was started in 1958 mainly for the American military personnel stationed in Taiwan and have helped many people throughout the years to come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In 2009-2010, CIBC became an Independent Church and today CIBC welcomes any people who have a desire to know Jesus and His Word to come to worship with us. We currently have Brothers and Sisters in Christ from many countries, from different denominations, who love the Lord Jesus and who are seeking to know Jesus here at CIBC.各各他國際浸信會在1958年創立，當時主要是為了駐防在台灣的美軍人員聚會所需，歷年以來也幫助許多人認識耶穌基督是救主和生命的主。2009-2010年各各他浸信會依據浸信會的方針與規章，成為一個自立的教會。今天我們歡迎渴望認識耶穌和祂的話語的人們，一起來參加崇拜。目前我們有來自許多國家、不同宗派、熱愛主耶穌的弟兄姊妹聚集在此，希望共同致力來認識耶穌。
Calvary International Baptist Church is centered around God’s revelation to us, the Bible. Through the teaching of His Word we learn about His character, plan, and love for us. As we grow in our understanding of Him, we experience His Spirit leading us to step out in ministry to one another and the world.各各他國際浸信會是以聖經神對世人的啟示為中心，透過對聖經的教導，我們學習神性以及祂對我們的計畫與愛。當我們越進深瞭解神，就會經歷聖靈帶領我們跨出對彼此與對世界的宣教事工。
Our Lead PastorPastor John LimPastor John was born in Taiwan and lived in Yang Ming Shan (陽明山) for two years when he was just 6 years old. In fact, he lived across the street from Calvary in Taiwan Theological College and Seminary where his mother worked as an accountant. His father Andrew, a Presbyterian Pastor, was in the US studying for his Masters during that time. His father was a pastor for 35 years before entering heaven in 1996. Pastor John moved to the US with his younger sister Grace when he was 8 years old.In Ohio and later in California, Pastor John taught Sunday School for children and later adults since he was 16 years old. He also did marriage and pre-marriage counseling for 25 years including marriage and pre-marriage seminars. Pastor John worked in the business world for many decades and worked in law enforcement for 14 years.Education is very important to Pastor John and his family. Pastor John has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the states of Ohio and California. His seminary training was from Veritas International University Seminary where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.Pastor John was ordained in Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and was sent out to Taiwan in 2015 as a Pastor/Missionary. Pastor John taught the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter in 4 different churches in Taiwan including CIBC. Pastor John was married for almost 30 years before becoming a widower. His wife and best friend, Gwen, had cancer and went to be with the Lord and is currently doing the Lord’s work in heaven. They have three grown children and two of them are married. The Lord gave Pastor John a miracle in February of 2017. The Lord blessed Pastor John and he married Susan in Israel. How they got together is a beautiful God story. If interested, ask Pastor John and Susan about their story and they will be happy to share their God story.Pastor John became the Lead Pastor of CIBC in April of 2018 where he and Susan are serving together. It’s pretty amazing that God would bring Pastor John back to Yang Ming Shan (陽明山) after 50 years. Pastor John and Susan are looking forward to this new chapter in their lives and are excited to see what God’s plans are for the future. Our Beliefs 我們的信念We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible is the final authority in every area it addresses for every individual Christian, as well as for the church collectively.
